Community Groups Host Spring Book Discussion of UnSelfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World - March 22, 2018

The Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington Schools, Start Talking Grandview, The Stand Project, Syntero Counseling, and the Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington Public Libraries will host two community book discussions on March 22, 2018, of the book UnSelfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World by Michele Borba, Ed.D.

The same engaging topic will be offered at two times and two locations on March 22. The morning session will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Upper Arlington Public Library located at 2800 Tremont Road (Friends Theater) and the evening session will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Grandview Heights Public Library located at 1685 West First Avenue (lower level).

The book outlines a nine-step empathy-building program with tips to guide kids from birth through college and beyond as well as a framework for parenting that yields the results we all want - successful, happy kids who are also kind, moral, courageous, and resilient.
