GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS MARBLE CLIFF EDUCATION FOUNDATION PAYS IT FORWARD
Education Foundation to purchase all school supplies for Grandview Heights Schools students and encourages local district families to use their school supply money to help neighbors in need and patronize local businesses hurt by pandemic.
During the third week of distance learning in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Grandview Heights Schools is holding a virtual Spirit Week. Today, April 16, is designated “Pay It Forward” day. The timing is perfect for the Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Education Foundation Board, which announced today the approval for payment of all school supplies for all students in the Grandview Heights Schools for the 2020-2021 school year. The purpose of this donation is to support the many families in the district who have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families who wish to support the community with funds that they would normally spend on school supplies are encouraged to “pay it forward” by helping neighbors in need or patronizing local restaurants, retail establishments, and vendors who so willingly contribute to the Grandview Heights Schools community on a regular basis.
The Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Education Foundation does not have an “all inclusive” list of “pay it forward” local businesses, but the Education Foundation encourages families to specifically “pay it forward” to the following list of consistent contributors to the Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Education Foundation and our Community:
