The Grandview Heights Schools Board of Education will meet in a Special Meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 4 p.m. for the following purpose:
A. Board Work Session
The location of the meeting will be via video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ohio General Assembly and Attorney General have approved the use of virtual meetings as a viable alternative to conducting public hearings during this time, and the district’s alternative complies with the new statutory directives. If you would like to observe the Board Work Session, then please notify Chris Deis at [email protected] or Hayley Head at [email protected] by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3. You will then be sent a link in which to observe the meeting.
A three step process has been outlined to help inform, in a growth minded way, what school will look like this Fall. Our process: 1) Data and Research (we sent surveys to parents, students, and staff); 2) Design and Planning; and 3) Decision and Recommendation to Board of Education. We have received our survey data and the board work session will be focused on sharing the three survey results with the board and looking for trends for what we did well and lessons learned. This will be the focus of this work session.
