The Grandview Heights Schools Board of Education will meet in a Special Meeting on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. for the following purpose:
A. Board Work Session
The location of the meeting will be via video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ohio General Assembly and Attorney General have approved the use of virtual meetings as a viable alternative to conducting public hearings during this time, and the district’s alternative complies with the new statutory directives. If you would like to observe the Board Work Session, then please notify Chris Deis at [email protected] or Hayley Head at [email protected] by 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. You will then be sent a link in which to observe the meeting.
The focus of this Board Work Session is to discuss Grandview Heights Schools Philosophy and Planning for Learning 2020-2021 plan with the Board and garner perspective and feedback. This will culminate in a proposed Board Meeting on July 8, 2020, where the plan will be shared in a public meeting and voted on. This is aligned to our outlined plan of: 1) Data and Research; 2) Design and Planning and 3) Decision. We are in the Design and Planning phase of our outlined process.
