A Black Lives Matter painting project, organized and spearheaded by Grandview Heights High School 2020 graduates Leila Meyer and Emmalyn Kukura, took place on June 2 at Wyman Woods Park as a purposeful, peaceful way to support recent events. Current or recent GHHS students painted panels to create a mural that can be photographed and/or publicly displayed and shared with the greater Columbus community in the coming weeks. In addition, $1,100 was raised to cover the cost of supplies with remaining funds being donated to the Columbus Freedom Fund.
