Dear Families,

In kindergarten, it is our mission to provide a supportive environment in which children can grow as learners and as members of a community.  Through thoughtful activities, students learn to interact with one another in a caring way while learning the academics and social skills they need to be successful.  Children are empowered to imagine, explore, problem-solve, and become independent learners. Children are encouraged to solve problems on their own and communicate their thoughts and feelings.  Kindergartners learn to be accountable for their choices and use mistakes as learning opportunities. We are committed to developing and honoring the whole child.

Welcoming your child to kindergarten is one of the most exciting times of the year. Below are some important dates for your calendars. Please be sure to carefully read the registration information and procedures. While the registration part of the process is my least favorite (the paperwork and details), it paves the way for what I know will be an exciting learning adventure in the fall.

Virtual Parent Information Night - Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 7 p.m.

Online Registration Opens - Wednesday, January 27, 2021

Document Verification - February 17 through March 5, 2021

Kindergarten Screening - April 1 and 2, 2021
