During a special board meeting on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, the Grandview Heights Schools Board of Education voted to approve Angela Ullum to serve as the next Chief Academic Officer for Grandview Heights Schools. She succeeds Dr. Jamie Lusher, who has accepted the position of Deputy Superintendent for South-Western City School District.
“Ms. Ullum is an experienced leader and has a proven track record of increasing student achievement,” stated Board President Jesse Truett. “ We were fortunate to have several excellent applicants for the position, and ultimately the hiring team selected Ullum based on her extensive experience and vision for our school district.”
Over the past few weeks, Grandview Heights Schools has engaged in a comprehensive process to select a new Chief Academic Officer.
Mrs. Ullum has served over 27 years in public education in various capacities including classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal, most recently as principal at Stevenson Elementary for the past eight years.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Angie over the past several years and she brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and passion to the position,” added Superintendent Andy Culp. “I look forward to her joining our administrative team.”
