The Grandview Heights Model United Nations Team recently competed in the National Model United Nations Conference, the largest and most prestigious conference in the world. This year's conference was the largest ever hosted and had students attending from over 70 countries.  Vivian Chute and Ronan Hayes earned the Delegate Award of Excellence for their committee performance. Soren Larsen was selected as a plenary speaker for the conference and gave a speech to the entire conference at the official UN Headquarters.

In the end, the team of Maria Ionno, Cody Allen, Soren Larsen, Griffin Rosinski, Matthew Sanzo, Sabrina Li, Vivian Chute, Devin Yeager, Maggie Wessel, Christian Cunningham, Lucas Schmied, and Ronan Hayes received the Award of Excellence for debate and committee performance which represents the 2nd highest honor and 2nd place award for the entire conference.  The Model UN Team advisor is Caleb Evans.  Congratulations!
