Stevenson Elementary students, under the expert direction of music teacher Brian Petit, have debuted their 2023 holiday music CD. The CDs will be distributed to area assisted-living / nursing homes as well as at LifeCare Alliance where they will be shared via Meals-on-Wheels to residents living in and around Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff!

According to Mr. Petit, the students worked extremely hard on this project. They had to record with a metronome (to facilitate post-production stacking of individual class tracks), read music notation, practice vocal intonation and musicianship, as well as experience the tenacity it takes to cut a record! Some classes took 10 takes until things "clicked!" Take note that this year's CD is a combination of student solos with two multi-grade level tracks:

- TRACK 5 includes the voices of every 3rd grader along with the barred instrument accompaniment of every 1st grader.
- TRACK 9 includes the voices of every kindergartener along with the barred instrument accompaniment of every 2nd grader and every 3rd grader.
