The Grandview Heights Schools track replacement is now complete and the stadium and track are now open to the public during non-school and non-student use hours. As a security measure, no members of the general public may access the stadium facility when school activities are occurring. This includes during the school day, during practices, and during games. In addition, no bicycles or other items with wheels are permitted on the track at any time. As a reminder, Bobcat Stadium is also a pet-free facility.
Grandview Heights Schools thanks all of our student-athletes, coaches, families, and residents for their flexibility and patience during the track replacement process.
The track now includes a new six lane track with a full concrete pad replacement, D rings to enhance long jump, high jump, and pole vault field events, and an additional training/staging area. This project also included “fixing” the spur so that we are now able to reliably use electronic timing systems for track events.
We look forward to once again using Bobcat Stadium and Anderson field for our fall sports. Complete schedules and ticket information can be found at ghathletics.org
Once again, thank you for your flexibility and patience throughout this process and GO BOBCATS!
