Grandview Heights Schools has once again achieved a top rating on the Ohio State Report Card, earning an overall 5-star rating for the district. Out of over 600 public school districts in Ohio, only 68 received the prestigious 5-star distinction.
This accomplishment highlights the hard work and dedication of students, teachers, and staff.
The district maintained a 5-star rating in the Achievement component of the report card for three consecutive years, which measures student academic achievement through the Ohio State Tests. Notably, Grandview Heights Schools earned an overall Performance Index Score of 105.5, the highest in Franklin County, marking five consecutive years of improvement.
In addition, Grandview Heights Schools received 5 stars in the Gap Closing indicator, demonstrating that students across all sub-groups exceeded growth targets in English Language Arts and Math.
Superintendent Andy Culp celebrated the district's achievements, emphasizing, "While we are proud of these successes, our true commitment lies in providing a holistic education for every student. Education isn't solely about test scores; it's about supporting the growth of the whole child and fostering well-rounded individuals. Our goal is to ensure that every child is supported academically, socially, and emotionally, so they are prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
