Well-known and admired Grandview Heights City Schools substitute teacher, Dr. Ken Carter, was awarded a Tri-Village Rotary Club Bobcat Award on February 20, 2014, at the Board of Education meeting. Dr. Carter was nominated by Edison Intermediate/Larry Larson Middle School teachers, Nicole Wainscott and Sarah Banks. In presenting the award, Superintendent Ed O'Reilly lauded Dr. Carter's efforts and enthusiasm in all that he does for the District. In addition to substitute teaching, Dr. Carter also volunteers for the MathCounts and Science Olympiad programs.
