From October 16 to 18, eighth grade students from Larry Larson Middle School traveled to Washington, D.C., and had the opportunity to experience all that the nation's capital has to offer. Students and staff toured the US Capitol, Smithsonian Museums, Holocaust Museum, and memorials such as WWII, Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korea. Led by teachers and supported by volunteer chaperones, the eighth grade D.C. trip is an annual opportunity to explore and experience history and culture.
