Football Honors Follow Post-Season Play

Congratulations to Coach Jason Peters for being named the MSL Football Coach of the Year.  Coach Peters is also the only Grandview Heights varsity football coach to coach in post-season games in more than one season.  Congratulations to players Grant Varner and Rhodes Jump who have been named First Team All-District . As well, Varner was named to the Super 25 Football Team of Central Ohio which represents the 25 best football players across all seven divisions.

After a thrilling 31-29 quarter-final win over Woodsfield Monroe Central Friday, November 7, the Grandview Heights High School Football team continued its post-season drive on Friday, November 14, against Lucasville at Nelsonville-York High School, but unfortunately lost 27-20.  This is the second time Grandview Heights has competed in a regional semi-final game in school history and the first time since 1987.

Congratulations to the entire varsity team and coaching staff on a very successful season.
