Resident art teacher, Chris Sauers, and students, Alex Via, Elisabeth McDermott, and Maya Hanscel, created a masterpiece for the BCTV studio backdrop. The student work was inspired by the 20th Century Dutch Artist, Piet Mondrian.
Mondrian broke down the elements of nature into primary colors and vertical and horizontal lines. The piece featured in the background of the attached pictures is based on Mondrian's work, but it is not a copy of the artist's actual piece. It is a BCTV original work of art.
A big "THANK YOU" to Mr. Sauers and the students for creating an added visual for the viewing audience to enjoy while during the morning announcements. Mondrian broke down the elements of nature into primary colors and vertical and horizontal lines. The piece featured in the background of the attached pictures is based on Mondrian's work, but it is not a copy of the artist's actual piece. It is a BCTV original work of art.
