The Pride of Grandview Heights, the Bobcat Marching Band, will present its Season in Review show on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 7 p.m., at Anderson Field. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Have you missed out on the half time shows of the marching band this football season? Did you choose to stay home instead of braving gale force winds and lightening so you missed the opportunity to see the band show off their ability to play music AND march? Or maybe you’ve only seen one of the shows and not all five? The Season in Review show is an opportunity to see all five half-time shows at once. The concession stand will be open and offering its usual fare.
The Season in Review show will also serve as the kick-off event to raise funding to purchase new band uniforms. The current uniforms are 31-years-old and have been held together by the dedication and talent of the uniform committee whose members stitch and patch the uniforms each season and often after every game. Donations will be received at the gate. Suggested donations are $10/adult and $5/per student or child to attend the event. The concession stand will be open as well with a full menu of items. In the event of inclement weather, the show will move to the Grandview Heights High School gymnasium and an indoor concession stand will be available.
