The Brotherhood of Rooks Media Center located in the Grandview Heights High School has long-garnered the affection of its' namesake. The Brotherhood of Rooks organization funded the remodeling of the media center several years and have consistently supported upgrades and improvements including books, materials, and furniture.
Recently, the Rooks raised $6,000 plus to upgrade the seating in the library to reflect a 21st Century learning environment that will allow our students to learn and study in a more collaborative setting. The fundraising was spear-headed by Rook Tom Brogen. Superintendent Andy Culp and Principal Ken Chaffin invited Mr. Bogen to be publicly thanked for his efforts at the September 20, 2016, Board of Education meeting. Other Rooks gathered earlier in the school year to try out the new chairs.
