We are pleased to announce the winners of the Second Annual Grandview Heights Halloween Writing Contest. Congratulations to Tatum Lusher (Grade 3), Vivi Chute and Oliver Yue (Grade 5, who tied for the Intermediate Division), and Adam Ellis (Grade 8).
The judges spent many hours reading over 60 entries, and enjoyed all the twists and turns writers included in their stories. Aliens, vampires, and the usual wicked villains appeared in the tales, as did pumpkin portals to other worlds and shape shifters. The essays are attached. Read them if you dare!
