Megan Brady, a 21st Century learning coach, is the Sunny 95 Teacher of the Month for October. The recognition is provided by Sunny 95 radio, Battelle for Kids, Brain Blast, Jett's Pizza, and The Flag Lady.
Mrs. Brady was recognized at a small luncheon hosted by Jet's Pizza that included district leadership and her students who produce BCTV, the Edison Intermediate/Larson Middle School weekly television news show.
Mrs. Brady's attributes were detailed in her nomination letter as follows:
Megan Brady is a very, very special educator, who serves as a 21st century learning coach for Grandview Heights Schools. She works in all buildings supporting teachers to try new and innovative learning opportunities for all of our students.
Megan not only possesses the leadership and intellectual ability to succeed at all levels, but also the temperament which empowers our teachers to take risks without fear of being judged, but rather supported. It is this safe culture and environment, through the relationships developed with staff, that allows Megan to be so effective in getting teachers to take risks that they may not otherwise take.
Megan’s leadership, hard work, and kind disposition are all components that make her inseparable from Grandview Heights Schools’ success and so very deserving of being recognized as a Celebrate Teaching Distinguished Educator. Congratulations, Mrs. Brady!
