Grandview Heights High School Marine Biology Classes and Science Club will host a very special screening of Chasing Coral on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium located 1587 West Third Avenue. Admission is free. Anyone is welcome to attend. Chasing Coral is a Sundance Film Festival Audience Award winner and an official selection of the SFFILM Festival.
Kerri Dobson will be the featured guest at the screening. She is a fourth year PhD student with Professor Andrea Grottoli at The Ohio State University. Originally from England, she gained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and International Development from the University of East Anglia and her Masters degree in Marine Ecology from Queen Mary University of London. She has worked on coral projects in Madagascar, Egypt, the Caribbean, and Hawaii. Her passion for coral reefs started when she learned how to Scuba Dive at age 18.
