From April 4 through 8, New York City will be a living classroom for many Grandview Heights High School vocal music students, along with their Vocal Music Director Andrew Grega and volunteer chaperones, as they perform, tour, and sightsee.

They will experience a 90-minute Musical Theater Song & Movement Workshop, perform at Church of St. Paul the Apostle and Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
According to Grega, "The highlights would be the shows and the opera they get to see, as well as performing in two really outstanding acoustical settings."

Students will enjoy a performance of Mozart's Cosi fan tutti at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center and Broadway's Kinky Boots or SpongeBob SquarePants.

They will visit Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall Backstage, Fifth Avenue shopping district, Times Square, Top of the Rock, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Opera House, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Wicked: Behind the Emerald Curtin, One World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and Little Italy and Chinatown.

Safe travels!
