I grew up in London, Ohio where I ran track and cross-country against Grandview (now I coach Cross Country for Grandview!).
After high school, I attended The Ohio State University where I studied horticulture. After working in the field of horticulture, I returned to OSU to earn a Master of Education. I taught seventh grade science at New Albany Middle School for eight years, and this will be my fifth year at Larry Larson Middle School.
My goal for science is to promote a safe environment of thought and discovery.
I live in Grandview with my husband, two daughters, Liv (6.5 years) and Emmy (4), and newborn son, Jack. We have a forty pound dog named Moose at home. In the classroom, we have a bunny named Gertie as well as three axolotls in our tank!
Outside of school, I like to run, read, travel/explore, garden, and cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes! I am very excited to teach in the community where I live!
